NFMC Festival was a great success!

Every student in our studio participated in the National Federation of Music Clubs Festival last weekend and did amazing!  We have been preparing for months for this event!  All students are required to memorize and perform 2 contrasting pieces in front of 3 judges.  Students earn points according to their score!  This year, I had many students chosen to play in the Honors Recital.  They were amazing!  Great work, Nora Harkness, Coy Harkness, Sam Merkley, Drew Johnson, Kate Hoxer, Bennett Harkness, Mylie Harkness, Morgan Merkley, Olivia Orme, Emily Austin, Amelia Barksdale, Gretel Broadbent, Anders Broadbent, Elena Barksdale, Maxwell Irvine, Mollie Gibby and Miles Irvine!  Way to represent our studio so well!IMG_8316 (1).jpg

Christmas Recitals Were Amazing!

Tuesday, December 27, 2022 by Cammie Titus | Recitals/Performances

Being a musician at Christmas-time is the best!  I love the music of the holiday season so much and being a musician means that I get to immerse myself in music for the whole season! IMG_6353.jpgOur studio Christmas recitals were a great part of that!  I am always so proud of my students, each one played so well.  Watching my students grow from month to month and year to year, truly gives me such joy!  5BDD9AF4-7E47-40C0-9BD2-5FB03F5335E7.JPG

Way to go everyone!  Thank you for sharing your talents this season!

Fall Group Lesson Fun!IMG_7232.jpg

I love Fall Group Lessons!  It is a tradition in our studio to make caramel apples with all sorts of fun toppings, and to perform a piece for each other. I love to do these performances in a setting that friendly, it is so important for piano students to perform and to feel confident doing it!  The only way to do that is with practice!  Performing is just like any other skill - the more you do it, the easier it gets!  The younger groups also had time to play some games which were so fun!IMG_7211.jpg
