We took our yearly technique tests and the students did awesome!  I will be doing some additional testing this summer for students who are ready!  Practice those scales, chords and arpeggios - they will improve every facet of your playing!!

Our Spring Celebration Recitals were a huge success!!  

I love our annual spring recital so much!  Even though it is such a busy time of year, I feel like it is so important to celebrate the progress of each student and have fun while doing it!  It is important to let our hair down once in awhile and just have a great time!  

I hope that you take the opportunity

as often as possible to cheer your child on, even in the small things. "I noticed that you worked so hard on that phrase - and now you've got it!", "I noticed that you have practiced every day this week! Thank you!"  "I heard you practicing that section so many times! Thank you for being so dedicated!"  "I heard great dynamics while you were practicing today!"  There are so many ways we can help our children feel like their efforts on the bench are noticed and that their efforts are helping them improve!  Let's make a goal to be our children's most ardent piano fans!
